I love all thinks New England (being a Mainiac at heart) and these designs remind me of living in Maine…

Never took a coast vacation as a kid. Did visit the gulf coast once as an adult and the west coast once. Being a product of the midwest, spent LOTS of time on lakeshores, so would love this book as a way to bring the ocean inland!

I never saw a beach or the coast until I was 19 years old and have now been to the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf Coast. I like the calm of the Gulf and adore seashells! I love the “Patriotic Constellation” quilt-thanks for the chance to win!

I didn’t get to see the ocean until I was an adult. My first time was on Assateague Island where the motto is “I gave blood on Assateague Island” due to the mosquitoes. It’s true!!! The best part were the wild ponies that roam freely which was totally awesome.

I didn’t see the ocean as a child. We didn’t vacation much except at my grandparent’s house. Now I live in California close to the ocean. Go figure! I love the Summer Roses quilt. Thank you for the chance to win the book.

  24. I would love a chance to win the new book, I love Polly and Laurie’s books and how they have quilting and rug hooking in them. I love to do different textiles, so books that have projects like this are wonderful. I love the shore and i live near the coast, so I can enjoy the beaches whenever I want. My favorite place to go is Acadia Maine, love the area and find it so inspiring.
